Fern Island is the island where Abrill crashed during her travels to the Academy of Witches. The Academy decided she can prove herself by staying on the island and communicating with her alma mater via a Crystal Ball.
The island can be explored at any pace between crystal ball calls from the Academy. It can be traversed on foot, from the saddle of an elegant Tzoru, or dart across it aboard a flying broom - once the Guardian Witch is satisfied with Abrill’s progress.
