Minerals may be found by using the pickaxe to mine precious metals, by digging with a shovel at Archaeological Excavations and in hedgemole burrows. There are also specific gem nodes which can be harvested. Quartz can also be picked up from the ground in some places. Some minerals, including agate, are given as rewards for solving the stone children puzzles.
- One way to increase the number of Gems you have is to feed them to Rottotle. They will grow slowly over the course of many days and require a Rock Melting Potion to remove them from his back.
