Astra Realm

Astra Overview

The Realm of Astra is identical to the real world, but in an eerie shade of blues and greys, and there are strange creatures and gigantic mushrooms everywhere! Once you go through a portal you will not have access to anything on your toolbar or in your hot wheel while in Astra. You will need to consume your Astra Resistance Potion before you enter, and once you enter you will need to keep an eye on the potion to make sure you get back to the portal and exit on time, or you will pass out and wake up in the Barrow End Hospital! You can use your map in Astra and check your quest journal, which is very helpful while exploring. There are two main ways to gather resources in Astra, speaking to the Loogloo and answering their riddles, or going to the colored beams and collecting the items on the altars under them. There are several very good reasons to go to Astra:

Unlocking Dimensional Chests for real world storage.
Collecting a Fertilized Astra Egg to be able to get the Moonlight Cuflow.
Collecting the parts for the Astra Protection Amulet.
Collecting the parts for the Scarecrow.
Completing the quest Break the Curse to free Patrice from a curse that has been affecting her family for generations.

Astra Portals

Astra Portals can be found all over Fern Island. These are used to access the realm of Astra. To survive in Astra, you will need to use either the Astra Resistance Potion or the Astra Protection Amulet.

Astra Beams

So, you made into Astra, now what? While in Astra you will notice there are glowing beams in green, purple, and a reddish pink color. If you go to their location, you can collect an item that is encased in a bubble. You will need to carry it back to the portal and exit Astra to collect it, and you can only hold one at a time! Also, be sure to avoid water though or you will lose your prize! These items are used both to make the Astra Protection Amulet and Astral Termites potion.

Loogloo

The Loogloo are an intelligent race of mushroom men which live in the Astra. They delight in testing Abrill with questions to see how much she has learned. If you answer correctly, they will reward you with the ingredients used to make the Astral Key. A list of their questions, and the answers to them, can be found on our Loogloo page.

Astral Key Activation

To get your Astral Key you will need to journey to the Astral Plane. While in Astra, always be aware of the timer on your Astra Resistance Potion and be sure to know your best exit strategy until you have the Astra Protection Amulet.

Dimensional Chests

Dimensional Chests are located in the Astra Realm as well as the mortal realm. To unlock them, you must click on them in Astra. Once they are unlocked, they are useable in the mortal realm and share a common "Dimensional Pocket Space" for storage which is accessible from all of them. Anything you put in at one location can be taken out from any other! The more you unlock, the more storage you have!
