Moon Phases

The moon phase is an important part of the gameplay because it can affect your ability to interact with magical chests and the quality of items you get.

  • Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable "Show moon phase in HUD." It is a good option to have turned on!
  • There are eight moon phases in the game. The moon phases, in order, are called New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, and Waning Crescent. Once each phase has appeared in order, the cycle restarts with a New Moon.

Timed Events

Timed events can be viewed on the in-game calendar and last for a short period. The event description will give you hints on what to do.

  • Note: These are not a quest in the usual sense of the word, as there is no one to talk to and no reward other than an increase in the quality or quantity of items.
