Magical Chest Locations
Magical chests are scattered in every region of the island. Finding them can be hard enough, but when you find one that can only be opened the same day as a specific moon phase, timing is key!

Barrow End
On the outskirts of Barrow End there are a couple of chests which the fledging witch can easily reach.
Foothills
There are eight chests to be found in the Foothills Biome. All of them are reachable without a broom provided you have at least a fine quality axe, or a potion to destroy the thorn barriers!
The Lake
In the Lake Biome you can find a total of six chests. All of them are reachable without a broom, though you may need to get wet to reach one of them!
Steppes
There are eight chests to be found in the Steppe's Biome. Unlike the other areas, a broom is required to reach at least two of them. You will also need a fine quality axe, or a potion to destroy the thorn barriers!
Desert
There are twelve chests to be found in the Desert Biome. You will want to have a broom to reach several of them. You will also need a fine quality axe, or a potion to destroy the thorn barriers!
Swamp
There are fifteen chests to be found in the Swamp Biome. You will find them hiding on docks, ledges, behind rocks and even on wooden watch towers! You will definitely need a broom to reach some of them.
Cliffs
There are 2 chests to be found in the Cliffs Biome. You will find one on the shore next to shipwrecks, and one high on the cliffs next to a building.
