The crystal ball is a remote form of communicating with the Academy of Witches. Thanks to this item, the witch can stay on Fern Island and explore it, uncover its secrets, and at the same time graduate.

Tutorial
- There are several steps to acquiring a fully functional crystal ball.
- First, you need to commission an unempowered crystal ball from Frita.
- Abrill then needs to empower the crystal ball by performing the Enchant Crystal Ball ritual at the Stone Altar at the Witch's Mansion.
- The crystal ball is now ready to be used. It is how you access the Witch Exam as well as how you can contact the Matron Witch.
- Witch Exam: Equip the crystal ball in your hand. Right-click (as though using a blueprint), then place it inside the Witch's Mansion. Click on the crystal ball furniture item to see the exam.
- Contact through Crystal Ball: The crystal ball can be picked up again and returned to inventory like any other furniture item. You will need it for the quest I believe I can fly!.
